Councillor numbers
The first stage of this electoral review is to determine the number of councillors who should represent the local authority in the future.
The Commission has decided that the number of councillors in Herefordshire should be 53, the same as now.
Effective date
The Herefordshire (Electoral Changes) Order 2014 was made on 8 January 2014.
The new arrangements came into effect at the May 2015 elections.
Final report
Our recommendations for new electoral and boundary arrangements were published on 25 March 2013.
