Consultation on revised proposals

From 2 December 2025 to 26 January 2026 we are accepting opinions and comments from the public on revised draft recommendations for 21 wards in Cumberland Council. The Commission is not seeking submissions about boundaries in the rest of the authority, but welcome views on ward names across Cumberland.

The consultation focuses on new proposals for ward boundaries in the following areas:

Carlisle
Workington
Rural central Cumberland
