This review has been paused while we consider how to carry out effective consultations. We are still accepting submissions, up until the closing date of 4 May.
Due to part of the consultation period for this review overlapping with the Covid-19 lockdown, we intend to re-open the consultation at an appropriate time to allow the maximum public participation.
Submissions we have already received will be given our usual attention and do not need to be resubmitted.

The Commission is carrying out an electoral review of Bedford Borough Council.
The aim of the electoral review is to recommend ward boundaries that mean each councillor represents approximately the same number of voters.
We also aim to ensure that the ward boundaries reflect the interests and identities of local communities, as well as promoting effective local government.
To achieve these aims, we need to re-draw ward boundaries across Bedford. You can find out more about the review below.
