Bedfordshire County Council

The Boundary Committee for England (BCFE) began reviewing the electoral arrangements of Bedfordshire County Council on 10 December 2002.

The Order implementing The Electoral Commission's decision on the final recommendations of this review has been made and can be viewed on the HMSO website. The Order refers to a map comprising of sheet 1 and sheet 2 . Map sheet 2 (draft and final) shows detailed mapping for the following areas, as highlighted on map sheet 1:

Map 1 - illustrates the proposed boundary between Kempston and Kempston Rural divisions, North and West parish wards and Biddenham North and Biddenham South parish wards, in Bedford borough. It also shows the proposed boundaries between De Parys, Newnham and Queens Park divisions in Bedford borough.

Map 2 - illustrates the proposed boundary of Sandy division and the boundaries between Ivel East, Beeston & Ivel, Fallowfield & Pinnacle South parish wards in Mid Bedfordshire district.

A structural review was carried out by the Local Government Commission for England (LGCE), and was started on 13 December 1993
