Shropshire

On 26 February 2008 the Boundary Committee for England (BCFE) began an electoral review of the new unitary authority of Shropshire. The review was completed on 14 November 2008.

On 11 February 2009 the Electoral Commission decided to accept the Boundary Commitee for England's recommendations for the new electoral arrangements for the county of Shropshire, with one modification:

Part of the Castlefields and Ditherington electoral division boundary was extended to include six properties on Victoria Street which were previously contained in the Quarry and Cotton Hill electoral division.
