East Hertfordshire & Stevenage PABR

Draft Recomendations

From 24 January 2012 - 6 March 2012 the independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) is consulting local residents on plans to re-draw a council boundary that currently divides neighbours in Gordian Way, Neptune Gate and Trajan Gate.

A map of the area is available on page six of the above report.

At present, parts of Gordian Way, Neptune Gate and Trajan Gate are represented by East Hertfordshire District Council and parts are represented by Stevenage Borough Council. The draft recommendation is that the district council boundary is changed so that all properties in the affected area are transferred from the area represented by East Hertfordshire District Council and are included in the area represented by Stevenage Borough Council. This will result in the whole of Gordian Way, Neptune Gate and Trajan gate being united in Stevenage Borough.
