Rushcliffe electoral review

Preliminary council size consultation

On 17 January 2012, the Commission started a review of Rushcliffe Borough Council. From 17 January to 27 February we are consulting on the size of the council, namely the number of borough councillors representing Rushcliffe Borough Council.

Following discussions with Rushcliffe Borough Council, the Commission is consulting on a reduction in the number of borough councillors who serve Rushcliffe. The Commission is asking local people and groups whether you think the Borough Council should be served by 45 borough councillors: a reduction of 5 from the current arrangements.
